I have some OR that are lighter and dry even faster than the EXO —they are a couple of years old and I forget what they are called. Overall, I still prefer the EXO and haven’t noticed any changes in the fit or style of them. Places like Sierra and Backcountry often have them on sale
Package deal. SKB case above and Renegade Non Typical XL bow. Bow is in very good condition. 41” ATA. 60# @ 31” 65% let off. Replaced strings and cables not long before I decided to go all in on trad bows. Great bow for finger shooters and it has plenty of mojo. $400 for both
Yeah, they are great shooters, and definitely the fastest bow I own. Since I got the Hill bug it just stays in the case, so it’s time to find a new home…
I thought I was the only one! My specs are almost exactly the same, except I can get by with 34/35 sleeve. If you are wanting hunting brands, Kuiu shirts in large normally fit me well. European brand shirts are usually cut slimmer and don’t need to be tailored. Pants are a different story...
This is a Larry made bow, 64” and 45lb @ 28”. Excellent condition, never been hunted with the exception of some mojo on backyard squirrels. $750 net to me, including shipping in the continental US. Or may consider trades for Sunset Hill or 3 piece Thunderhorn Longbow in the 40-50lb range, or...
Case is in very good shape. Lockable, holds 2 dozen arrows, gear, and multiple takedown trad bows or 2 compound bows. This is a heavy duty made in USA case and would probably cost a fortune to ship, so I’d prefer to meet in person for the transaction. I live in E TN and travel to several states...
I can’t seem to be a one buy guy, but tend to stick with longbows. Just finished up some purple pigstickers for an upcoming public land hog hunt in SC. POC with Zwickey heads and Kim Sha ASL.
Also check out the Fjallraven Barents Pro pants. They come un hemmed—I have a 35” inseam and they were dragging on the floor before the wife altered them
FYI Varuste has the woolnet 20% off right now. Just pulled the trigger and will soon be looking like a character on Sprockets from the old Saturday Night skit.
I have a Flint and Tinder waxed jacket and I like it. Never compared to Filson, but I’m tall and skinny and most Filson stuff is too boxy on me. The F&T is athletic cut and style is probably intended as around town jacket vs busting brush or hard outdoor use.
I’m convinced there’s just no such thing as the “perfect” quiver for all hunts, and I have bought, sold, and traded just about everything on the market it seems. I like the convenience of a bow quiver, but the balance always felt awkward to me, and I just can’t make them work on longbows. If...
