I never used to use cure in my wet marinade jerky, but I usually packaged it in smaller batches and would freeze until it was ready to go hunting. Then it would get eaten that day.
I just bought a used set of 10x42 meopta meostars, and was amazed how much better they were than my vortex vipers. I used them free hand, and on the outdoorsman adapter. Great for finding game. That said, I need more to distinguish size of animal at distance. I’m looking at the Ares spotting...

I had one and returned it. I only played with it during low light, so not sure I gave it a fair shake. Can’t expect a 50mm spotter to be great in low light, but I decided I’d be happier with a 65 mm scope…just haven’t pulled the trigger yet.
