Whole story makes me sick. That dude should be put under the jail. From the story posted above:
“It may have been a shot that was slightly negligent,” the attorney wrote. “It might have been a shot that was reasonable as taken.”
Either his attorney is a crook or completely ignorant when it...
Count me in on Team Randy. I think he’s one of the best advocates we have for public lands and public hunting opportunities. A lot of y’all are acting as if Randy is in favor of limiting opportunities for you and as if it’s personal somehow.
Instead of worrying about some guy “outing” your...
Way to go man. You're teaching her right. My 5 yr old has toy guns and we also use those to teach her how to safely handle guns. They're never too young to start learning respect for firearms and how to be safe with them.
They give no evidence of how climate change has anything to do with it. All they say is it rained a lot and the ground froze so the deer couldn't find food. They also don't offer any other possibilities such as disease. Clearly nothing but a poorly written global warming propaganda article.
I'm a whitetail treestand hunter and I'd say go rangefinder first and then teestand. Definitely try to do both if you can. Unless all your shots are less than 20 yards, that rangefinder will make a huge difference. I've tried to guess ranges a lot of times and it's a lot harder than you would...
What Rob said ^
Chimney tops is a really cool trail that's short but really steep. Go see Clingmans Dome(highest point in TN) too. It's a short but kinda steep hike but it's paved and a great view at the top.
Have fun!

What would be a good activator for hydro-dipping. I was gonna paint the stock on my t3x but you guys have me thinking I could dip it instead. I'd love to so one in multicam. Do you still put a sealer on top when you're done?

I went through this decision not long ago. 300 yards is not even possible where I hunt in TN. Wanted something stretch out that far when I go out West but doubt I ever shoot much past 300 yards. I went with a 7mm-08. It'll do fine on elk etc and the vast majority of my hunting is for whitetails...
I don't think anybody on this site has views remotely close to PETA like people being equal to animals. They are a resource though. And in my book, poaching is just like being a thief. Youre stealing a resource and stealing opportunities from people that hunt the right way. I don't know bout...
Also, where I live in TN, you can shoot 3 does a day during deer season. But you have to pay about 75$ to be able to hunt the rifle season. When you can get that much meat legally, it really makes it hard for me to see why anyone would need to poach for it also.
I do agree with maybe tiering...
I don't watch much hunting tv anymore because of that very reason. But if they're not breaking the law then have at it.
I just don't see much excuse to poach for food when if you're that bad off, you probably qualify for food stamps or some kind of assistance. The point of making it a felony...
This. Exactly. A lot of ppl use the poach for food argument around here and it doesn't hold water with me. Most are already on food stamps or some government assistance anyway. No reason they shouldn't have to follow the same laws as everybody else.
The way I see it, when people purposely...
