What he said. She’s just anxious. Give it time. She’ll be fine with it once the baby’s actually here and she knows what her new normal is like. Make sure you give her time to herself too though. You both need it. Make sure to still take as much time for each other as possible too.
I live in the Bitterroot Valley and I have a salmon zone elk tag this year. From what I’ve seen, a full size could be tight on some of the roads. I drive a 4runner and have gotten around great so far. I did see some guys in f250s with 20 foot trailers on some roads that I thought were kinda...
While we’re talking about the Exodus, does anyone know for sure that they’re legal in Idaho? I’m hoping to use them this fall but see conflicted info on whether they’re ok or not even on the full blades.
FWIW I looked at Tacomas too and didn’t find them any cheaper than 4runners. Comparable Tundras were way more when I was looking. 4runners are a lot more useful, IMO than a truck bed 90 percent of the time. Especially when you consider how small a Tacoma’s bed is.
I have a 2016 trail that I absolutely love. Goes anywhere and great if you have kids too. I pulled a 6x12 trailer loaded with all our stuff from Tennessee to Montana when we moved and it did fine. It’s not gonna toe like an f250 but it’ll do most chores fine. It’s awesome on the forest roads here.
Check out the Spider Grills pellet adapter for Weber kettle grills. It turns your standard Weber charcoal grill into a pellet grill/smoker. You can go back to charcoal by just taking it off. Last I looked they were about $280. I’ve been using mine for a couple months and smoked about everything...
Smallmouth caught on a Rooster Tail with ultralight spinning gear in a small creek in middle TN. This is about as big as they get in that creek but it’s some of the most fun fishing I’ve ever done.
Good luck with looking for a job in WY. I’ll be in the same boat with you in a couple months. Would be kind neat to have forum section for something like this. I see a lot of people talking about relocating and what better way to find a job than word of mouth through people you know(virtually)?
That's great advice. I'm definitely gonna do that. I think it'd be helpful for me and my wife. I've driven in snow a handful of times and done ok, but we don't get snow often enough to be proficient driving in it here.
I had this same thought a couple years ago before I bought my Tikka. I think the general consensus was that accuracy issues were possible with a break action and most people just want more rounds in the gun. I still think if someone could produce an accurate, lightweight single shot, it could be...
Man, you guys have all been super helpful. I'm definitely gonna try to buy here before we move. I was looking around online this morning and Subarus aren't cheap here either, but there are a lot of them available. I actually found a few German AWD CUV's (Audi Q5 and Mercedes GLA 250s) for less...
What he said. 100%. I have '16 4Runner Trail and love it to death. Yes, they're expensive, but I'm looking at it as a long term investment. We'll drive it until the wheels fall off. The Xterra Pro-4x's look nice but they were just a little too small to me.
Wow guys. Thank you so much for the help. That really answers a lot of questions for me. This car will mostly be a commuter for me but would be nice if we could drive it back to TN to visit. That’s where the gas mileage of the Camry would come in handy. Think I’ll lean toward a Subaru or RAV4...
Hey y'all. My family and I are planning a move to Montana or Wyoming from Tennessee this summer. I finally graduate from business school in May and will be looking to move as soon as possible after that. I've been driving a 2007 Mustang around for the last few years as a cheap commuter car. I'm...
I’ve been Seriously wanting to move out West for the last 10 years or so also. My wife and I were going to move to MT in 2012 but it didn’t work out for one reason or another and then we had kids and that also delayed things a bit. I went back to school and will finally graduate in May. We’re...
