Best cartridge for mono bullets on elk under 600 yards?
I ended up with a bunch of hornady factory 160 what ever grain copper stuff and I used it to break in a couple 7prc's and it actually shot pretty well out of all of them......around 3k + fps on 22-24" stuff. -
Wildcatting the 6.5 rpm
fwiw Ive done 4 6.5 7wsm's and they are 5-600 and out on the barrels. I would venture necking down would only hasten this problem, but I will continue doing it cause its impressive and i like it. I did a 25 saum on a 22" barrel and a walmart safe 3100 with the any of the three 131, 134, 135... -

Making your own food
If you have, or no someone, with a freeze dryer. I have been just making extra what ever we were makinge for dinner and running it through the freeze dryer. Was really nice to eat good food this year.- Nbowlin

Wildcatting the 6.5 rpm
I have been pondering that exact same thing for quite awhile. Impatience got the better of me and I ended up with a 25 sherman reamer. A slightly improved 280 ackley. 24" 134 @ 3300fps. They should be pretty similar with the rpm having a bit more room in it. -
