Kevin ... Thanks for sharing. What a great story and pictures of your adventure. My first Moose hunt has been cancelled twice in last 2 years so I am living/hunting/adventuring vicariously through your hunt. Hopefully 2022 I will get it done on my Moose hunt.

Painful knees

I also have knees through years of pounding, car accident that broke my upper tibia and knee cap, 3 meniscus tear surgeries have led to joint pain and Osteoarthritis. Also have neuropathy due to some med treatments. Going into see a doctor tomorrow that specializes in physiatry. They...

^^^^ what Squicher said. I do hiring of higher level employees for my company and too many know it is an employees market these days. Been burned several times by folks who just used us to get an offer after 3 interviews just so they can either leverage their current employer or another...

2021 - Weight Loss/Way in Thread

Well I plateaued there for a while which I think can be normal. Today's weigh in I am at 217 lbs. Congrats to all who are making progress, and to those who are not hitting their goals, stay focused and committed. It will happen if you stay mentally strong!

^^^^^ What Kevin said. If you are having this hard of a problem finding a hunting partner, you need to be careful about compromising and picking someone who will be more problems than they are worth as a partner. I have now gone to Canada for 3 years solo Whitetail hunting. All of my buddies...

This appears meaningless ... if I understand correctly, this just removes the 14 quarantine for Canadian residents upon re-entry to Canada if they are vaccinated. This is about the lowest possible threshold for reopening.

I assume you are referring to Mexico or other hugh travel tourist destinations that would collapse without tourist $$. I don't think the Mexico border ever closed. These places are also within a few miles of an airport. Canada has none of that in place as they have been closed. If you were to...

Had a good conversation with my Doctor the other day about vaccinations. Based on his knowledge of current vaccine programs (flu, measles, chicken pox, etc.) is that there is a certain % of the population that will refuse getting the covid vaccination based on data from other vaccine programs...

Quiet Clothing for Moose Hunting

That was my plan. Multiple layer options that I can shed or put back on as needed. Start with poly base and then merino mid layer. I like the idea of fleece outer layer, probably the quietest option. I have Cabela's wooltimate gloves and love them. I like the Shemagh type fingerless wool...

I agree. Have spent a lot of time deer bow hunting and while movement is an issue, sound can alert and spook them before you can see them.
