I've got a wolf grey woodsman with a coyote tactical frame and pouches and think it looks great. I do like my coyote ultralight frame and ranger green hoodlum a little better as far as looks go though.
The shower beer was the go-to in college. Worked until 8 and had to have a shower before I went down to the watering hole and the more beer you had at home the less you had to pay for at the bar. I'd say it was born out of necessity more than anything else.
My pa has a 99 JD 4200 compact with a 420 fel. Wont lift a ton but does all the dirt work we need and can lift a fair amount with forks on. Its got yard tires on it since a lot of the work we do is on grass but still holds its own in soft soil. Used to have a bigger massey but it was overkill...
I have a Carter Slider, no trades. Asking $60. This release has no signs of wear. As usual I cant get the pics to come in so text me at for faster response and pictures.
Pull up a topo map of something that is steep in your neck of the woods and look at how close the contour lines are, then put up a map of where you want to hike. It'll give you a good reference
Turkey.. I try and resist buying a tag every year out of boredom because I know i'm not going to kill one. So far so good this year but that might be attributed to my new job giving me no time to hunt in the spring
New job new truck, got the 6 speed manual. Need to get rid of the street tires tho. Gotta keep the suspension stock for work any recommendations for size?
I would imagine pressure is pretty high since these are the two areas of the state with public land and muleys. I've been out to the the NE National Forest for turkey and there's roads all over it so that kinda sucks.
For an average sleeper I would say probably with a good pad. I used a 30* with an uninsulated pad 2 Septembers ago (first week), got cold one night when it got below freezing but was fine besides that. I would test it before you go out in similar temps as what you are expecting though
