It’s like most other things. Your buying a name. My buddy used one and liked it. Didn’t have a problem.
If you have Amazon prime, buy it and feel it out. If you like it, keep ir. If not, return it.

Forgot to add. Once they take it out, shoot it 1/2 times at close range to let it settle back in. Once settled, they’ll put it back it close to the sharpie mark and see how much it needs to go up or down.

Take it back to whoever installed it. They’ll mark it with a sharpie. Take it out. Put it back on in roughly the same spot and it’ll be a little adjusting.

Haven’t read the other comments, but I have had one crazy good experience and 1 terrible.
Crazy good: small entrance wound about a 5-6” exit.
Crazy bad: never opened. Still recovered the deer, but it was pretty sad. Good, not great shot placement and it still took way to long to expire...
I know it’s super safe but a laser beam and sharp objects next to my eyes is what I try to avoid everyday. Not pay for it haha

Going in for a thyroid appt here shortly, getting blood drawn and a couple more test to see what is possibly the reason. Appreciate all the replies from everyone.

So what happens if a bear stumbles out on you the last day of a hunt, last light and you don’t have a tag. Wish you did? To each there own I guess. I like to do it the way I stated. I know a lot of guys that will get an elk on there first day. They don’t want to go back to town and hike 30+...
If I were in your bosses situation I could careless then. It’s “free” advertising and your paying for the gas. It’s really to an extent money in there pockets. I think the gov is giving .65 a mile right now. So while your driving with your payed for gas your boss writes it off. So it’s a win win...
Personally, I have 3 trucks on my companies. I let everyone drive all over the place as long as they 1. Keep it clean, 2. Pay for gas. 3. Pay for any major repairs if they drive it like your saying.
I cover company miles, insurance and monthly payment. So I think it’s a fair trade off between...
They weight more, usually a lot more. So you’ll see a lower impact further distances back when using a lighted vs non lighted mock

Who cares that some of the finish comes off? If it still works as good as a yeti or anything of that high quality isn’t that what matters?

I look at it like this personally: if your out there, see no elk sign, your down on your luck and all of a sudden you see any other hunt-able species. Why not? I always buy extra tags especially if it’s only 100$ or so.
