    Bass Pro Shop buys Sportsman’s Warehouse

    Ihave several pieces of cabelas branded gear that works and lasts. They made some good stuff. Redhead branded gear is terrible! Sportsman's Warehouse has been one of the better places to go over the years. What a crying shame that it, too, will go by the wayside.

    I'd second the recommendation on the Barnes TTSX. The 150g Barnes factory fodder is very consistent out of my rifle and is my go-to hunting load.

    My Leupold CDS system has been fantastic. For a hunting scenario, provided you have all the proper ballistic data for your load, it's hard to beat. Quick, easy, precise. Now, I don't really need it for anything under, say 350 yards, but I like to use my hunting rifles and loads for coyotes...

    I'll second the Leupold FX3, but one of my all time favorite scopes is the old Leupold M8 6X36. Light, bulletproof, compact and usually can be had for around $200 when you can find one.
