I’ve seen most people moving here, especially in the north half of the state, to be more conservative than the locals. It’s been a rough transition for lots of areas
Real things people don’t necessarily know; the cost of living is higher than lots expect, house prices are going to stupid...
I just built axis with standard hits in them and using 125 grain points for targets and then going with 100 grain broadheads and 25 grain iron will collars for hunting. I shoot lots of bag targets and hate the way collars and outserts hang up. My point of impact seems to be the same both ways...
I tried one out the other day at a shop. It was set hotter after the click than I wanted and had more travel than I liked. I was still able to punch right through the click a couple times but also had a couple shots where I felt like I used it as intended and made great shots. I can see how it’s...
Watched a guy buy a dozen the other day. He asked me what I thought and I said I thought the diameter was silly since there are no other component options. I felt a little bad about my comment after he left. I think my friend that owns the shop was amazed they sold some so fast. I think they had...
I found an insanely well flagged trail a couple weeks ago. Each piece must have been 18-24 inches long. No idea why they flagged the trail, it was sawed out so well a blind person could follow it
I was just thinking how great it would be if the replacement blades actually had “don’t litter” printed on the package. I’ve found so many blade sleeves on the ground over the years
Looked at one at my local shop the other day. I think they had both pic and dovetail mounts. Looked awesome. Either a boonie or hha x3 will probably be my next sight
Any thoughts for the gallery on raffles with a set number of chances and someone buying the vast majority to basically guarantee a win? It’s definitely happening with some raffles and costing them less than an auction tag would
But again; those spending big bucks on raffles and auctions are...
So you’re actually bending the sight? My opinion is your bigger problem will be stress cracks you can’t see that may be a bigger failure concern
Been now hunting for over 20 years and I’ve never dropped my bow with enough force I worried about anything failing
I’ll go with others on saying it could be the grip. My Mathews has the same grip and while I really love the feel of it but the round back of it leads me to have some times when I have more side to side wobble than I like. I’m ditching mine soon for side plates
I have very mixed feelings on having my rangefinder in a pouch on my harness. It’s the best thing I have going right now
I do really like the clip that vortex uses on their rangefinder and have thought about trying to add it to my sig. I saw online where someone did it but I’m too scared to...
And at the end of the day all those critters will be collecting dust somewhere, the stories forgotten, sold off and/or dumped in a landfill. It’s about bragging rights with other rich folks. They have just conned a way in to having access to the best hunting every year without waiting in line...
