ill go for a 6'4'' as i am 5'8''.... if its really 12 oz..... going from a xtherm to x lite for early season in wa witch does not mean much. temps can be hot to freezing in sept here in altitude. wanting a 3 pound sleep system in my old age.......
i have been looking at this shelter...i am 5'8'' looks like lots of room for one with all gear inside, pack, boots, weapon, bow or rifle... have you used the solo inner with this ? think this is on my list for my next shelter option. how bad is the condinsation? would like a lighter option...
long range or not.... just a bad thing to take long breaks with anything....unless proper time is taken preparing prior to making it count.... just like anything to be proficient and effective practice all year round or at least what is needed to be spot on for the individual...... elr is a...

mine varies.... i carry 12-15 pounds in camera gear/optics so mine is always more even in day mode. i never count my rifle or bow, not going on a drop hunt in a plane where it counts on weight for transport..... there is a argument if it counts but mainly i carry in hand. with water and food...
all boot makers have lemons..... the x alps are a great boot for everything besides nearly vertical for extended time. i do wish they would make a more breathable version, perhaps similar to the new spry. the x alp walks well in the lows into the transition all the way to the steeps. all peeps...
imop stiffer soul will allow less strain on foot when side hilling and or ascending steeper terrain. there is a fine line there to be had for function and comfort. it is a love hate thing for sure. can be a challenge to find a boot that works well in alpine and sub alpine togather. good luck....
spend $2 grand on a CA ridgeline and have a 1/4 moa rifle when hand loading. id take a trigger tech trigger all day long as well. nice that kuiu is trying but so many options...... a custom build has its stoakage as well but i dig the CA option for the $............
the mtn star 2p is a great design and tent in general. i had to send my original back due to the caribeners if that is what they were where the poles crossed starting to have stitch failure where they attached. mine never leaked and was a tank up there. wish they would offer a solid grey option...
seems odd.... they feel big to me. i have the kuiu version of the r evolution and feels more roomy than my other boots. a superfeet trail or guide makes them feel more correct. i think ill order the rebel k tonite. for others who have stated... there is no kuiu branding on them. there just...
sig kilo 2000 paired with a kestrel elite 5700 with applied ballistics is the combo i use and have learned to trust. has been a great experience validating my hand loads out to 1660 yards so far. muzzle velocity varified by a lab radar i bought this winter to use in conjunction. its a fun time...
break in period is non existant imop if boot is proper for your foot.... the correct sock is a contender as well for given situation. a sock that is super thin can create issues as you described. too narrow perhaps pinky toe, too long heel slip....
they have been similar as other boots as far as the liner. maybe 100 miles on the first pair and dampness would occur so application of a product to assist with that, i maintain all my boots well, clean them, wash etc....the second has 150 miles on them and still good to go. the third is new in...
only have worn in the house. have not decided if im keeping or not yet, more so due to already having many boots. i will say i kept them to think about and sent back right away the crispi thor, they were way too soft and the design in general was not what i was looking for be it the terrain...
i have the sig kilo 2000 and leupold rx-1000i tbr, hard to go wrong with the sig and money well spent. was a perfect match to pair with a kestrel 5700 with applied ballistics as well great with a bow. the leupold is great with bow not as good in fog, less distance that it can range be it animals...
