    I have this belt and it is an excellent belt. Very comfortable and I have not seen any issues with it slipping.

    Enjoyed reading these posts as I am in a similar position. Primarily a midwestern whitetail hunter but am looking to hunt west once a year from here out and looking for a good pack that could potentially be used for both.

    How many packs?

    Two. One dedicated for 5-7 night backcountry hunts (elk, mule deer primarily) and one for a daypack/tree stand pack (whitetail).
