My long time go to rifle has been a Ruger M77 MkII in a McMillian stock in 300 Win Mag. I've been torn between the 200 ELD-X and the 180 GMX in it. It seems to prefer these 2 the most, as I never got great accuracy with Barnes. It seems to me the 190 CX might be the best of both worlds. I...
I'd like to give the pack a try, and kudos to you guys for taking all the lumps, listening to the criticism and making changes. Says a lot about you guys!
The censorship and almost state sponsored media we have is a huge issue. It sounds like his new site is censoring the other side, which I'm sure most people on their are ok with. That's the real issue now days, both sides are fine with the media telling only one side, as long as it's their...
I like some room for swelling, as well as for thicker socks. Are you wearing socks that you plan to wear while hunting? I know my feet swell some when hiking for a while, but I have other foot/lower extremity issues that may make it worse for me than others.
I posted the TSA guidelines, but the last time I flew it seemed like people were bringing all their luggage as carry on with how big they were. I don't think you would have an issue, but if you get that one stickler as a TSA agent, you just may.
This is how I go about it as well, with one addition. If I'm looking for something that is unavailable right now, such as the aforementioned SWFA scopes, or some reloading supplies, I'll look and see what they have gone for elsewhere before moving forward on the deal. inflation and supply...

Definitely! Someone way smarter than me said that if everyone is thinking the same thing, then no one is thinking, or something like that. Nothing is better than some healthy discourse on a subject.
Them letting 2 big names in hunting go kid of makes it feel like they are getting out of the hunting game completely. May not be the best stuff, but a big name like UA being in hunting may not be a bad thing
I have to disagree on this. I use a 6x42, and shoot a lot longer distances that 150-200. More X's aren't a requirement for longer distances.. If you can't put a bullet where you need it with a 6x scope..... it ain't the scope.
