Yeah, it’s the 140 grain. I haven’t shot anything with it but it shoots as well as anything I have. Hopefully my feeding issues are resolved soon and I’ll take it hunting.
First groove being where that notch is? 1/4” or so? I’m gonna mow down the front a touch as well. Definitely need a nose up attitude, it’s just slamming so flat into the feed ramp.

Correct, they are entrances. I know they look strange but I’ve seen some other entrances from the round nosed core lokts that look kind of like that. It was alive and he shot it out of a stand with his daughter, I dont think he did anything weird.
