I looked at both the 6.5 PRC and the 7 PRC. Purchased a Christensen Ridgeline FFT in 7 PRC. Only reason was the 7 PRC shoots heavier bullets. I have a 6.5 Creedmoor so I went with the 7 PRC. This rifle will be my suppressed elk rifle. So far accuracy wise I have not been disappointed in both...
I personally have not been able to tell the difference in accuracy when changing from lead core bullets to all copper without cleaning the barrel. Maybe some rifles act differently.
The Federal 130 Terminal Ascent is a tack driver in my Tikka 6.5 CM. I have shot the Barnes 127 LRX and it shoots under MOA also. I personally don't use all copper unless I have to.
I bought one for my 7mm PRC. A buddy of mine has one on his 300 wsm and after some range time with his I was impressed enough to buy one. So far I have no complaints.
Several of the Lithium LifePO4 batteries for marine use have heaters built in them. The battery is heated when it is too cold to charge and then when warmed it charges. Of course the batteries with heaters are more expensive.
Federal 7mm PRC 170gr. Terminal Ascent for sale. 2 full boxes, same lot numbers. $100 which will include shipping with UPS. I purchased 3 boxes to try in my Christensen Ridgeline FFT and this rifle does not like this ammo. PM me for payment options.
