Wondering if anyone out there has +P chambered a 6.5 Creedmore, I've read about the magic RL26 will do for it as it does with everything else but i dont totally trust the temp stability. My questions are:
Does it have enough case capacity to take advantage of the the +P chamber?
Was it worth...
My 6 BR has proved to be a great coyote round out to big distance but if I had to do it again I'd run a 6 XC or 6 Creed to run a shorter barrel. I'm currently running a 105 berger at 2900 fps from a 26" barrel.
I have shot probably 10k rounds of 17 HMR at ground squirrels all the way up to badgers and rock chucks. For squirrels out to 200 yards, it's better than a 22 Mag but definitely under gunned when shooting anything bigger. I wish a company like lapua would get in to the 22 Mag game and make some...
Just spent 9 days in Montana staring through these for hours every day. These are amazing and some of the best money I have spent on hunting gear. The glass is great, and while I have never owned alpha glass I never had any issues with headaches or eye fatigue and I was able to see details that...
My 2023 Montana Buck, he measured 27 1/2"wide. This was my furthest shot on a game animal to date at 515 yards with the 7mm SAUM. Found him about 30 yards from where I shot him.
I noticed a broken eye cup on my Sig Kilo 3000 binos so I did a warranty claim on it. Service was fast and the turn around was very quick. I got them back in a week. Unfortunately, the outcome was not so great. I sent the whole unit in to fix one removable eye piece. This is what I got in...
I just got a pair of these today and was able to compare them next to the Sig Kilo 3000s which were very close to the Fury, giving a light edge to the Sigs when I compared those 2 side by side. The Revics definitely have much better glass, they were brighter than the sigs down to the last...
I dont have photos but the 208s work. One mule deer at 330 yards, quartering away entered ribs, recovered the jacket but core exited behind offside shoulder. Lungs turned to jelly, deer didn't take a step.
2nd mule deer I shot in the neck at about 80 yards facing me. Bullet stopped in the...
I was just down that way to shoot varmints, granted I was aways outside of Boise and not elk hunting but the locals were much more friendly than they are up here and I'm a local! Haha.
The assholes in Idaho are assholes to idahoans too. God forbid you find Kootenai Plates in Shoshone County. The panhandle can be really bad, probably the worst area in the state from what I've experienced. Not sure why that's the culture as most people up around here are transplants somewhere...
The Paysayten wilderness was a zoo last year. Probably the worst I've seen it. I've been going consistently for 10 years and I don't know that I will be going again. Finding a blacktail would be awesome but having to go to the west side to do it I can't imagine the crowds there.
