So the stock is actually duracoat painted, they didn't have the colors in the C-series (air cure) to make the multicam/ocp pattern, but the action and barrel are Cerekote. Looking back on it I didn't word that very well in my post.
I have made my own in the past and it's a royal pain in the ass, I used a mixture of Kuiu Vias stencils and OCP stencils. I was hoping to make it closer to the vias pattern with OCP colors but it didn't quite work. Next time I'll do the brown first.
Way too much, like 12lbs. I plan to get a lighter scope and eventually a lighter stock like a Mesa or maybe a Rokstock if i decide i like ugly rifles. It would make a good NRL hunter gun in its current configuration though.
My little winter DIY gun project. I picked up a lightly used Tikka CTR in 6.5 Creedmoor. After shooting it I realized I hated the factory Tupperware stock so I bought a beat up Bell and Carlson stock from the classifieds, fixed some cracks and screw holes, added texture to the palm swell and...
I am selling my Kifaru Reckoning bought in 2018. Pack is in Good condition but does have a couple of minor stains (pictured) and a couple pinholes in the side pouches. Comes with everything pictured: 26" tactical Frame, Reckoning Bag, 2 Pouches, Guide Lid, and Gun Bearer. Pack also has brand new...
@Ryan Avery do you have a some kind of Venmo or even a gofunme account set up so the community can chip in? I'm sure if more people knew how to contribute ( or where) they would.
Here's my 7mm Saum, work done by Defensive Edge.
Shoots 180 Bergers at a leisurely 2900fps over 59.8gr of H4831sc.
Topped with an ATACR 5-25

Sounds like I am going to have to take a hard look at a long throated 25 Creed. How has availability been for the heavier class bullets? Are they keeping up with production or they like trying to find 180 Hybrids?
I'm sure they will for a price! I saw what UM is charging to make 6UM brass and it was about $3/ piece.
Definitely not interested in running RL26, it's hard to find and fussy in hot weather.
I mustered up the courage to shoot a doe in MT with my 6mm BR, 105 Bergers at 2900 (26" barrel). @PNWGATOR would be so proud. 😂. 440 yards in a stiff 12 mph wind and what do you know? she died. Baby steps, but i am getting there. Not sure if i'll ever go full WKR and hunt with it or a .223...
