Same here. I bought 500 last Thursday, left 1200 on the shelf. I think they probably have more than what's on the shelf to help regulate hoarding. That being said, it's an election year and I can't totally blame people although most people don't shoot 3000 magnum rounds in a year or even 3 years.
Just picked one up, it is now in jail. Hopefully these wait times are as short as I keep hearing, it would be nice to have it by hunting season.
Is there a bigger break that can fit on the end?
We are doing a varmint shoot in a little over a week and I was hoping to find some to load up before going, or if i could get ahold of some that creedmoor ammo. I'm sure they'll be everywhere in the not too distant future.
I am anxiously awaiting them to become available. Their BC is still a good bit lower than a 105 class but much higher than the rest of the varmint style bullets. I want to say I saw somewhere in the realm of .425 G1, I can't remember the G7, somewhere around .2.
I have a 6 BR and I love it but if I were to do it again I'd step up to either the Dasher, 6×47, or even the Creed. That being said I am about 500 rounds deep in to this BR barrel and there isn't even a touch if throat wear. This barrel is going to last a really long time.
I am selling my Savage SA (4.40") Oryx Chassis. Stock has an amature multicam paint job done with duracoat by yours truly. Has a few chips in the paint around the mag well but is otherwise in good shape. Barreled action and scope are not for sale. $300 shipped. I accept all forms of payment.
I have a a 26" Barreled 6mm BR that is my varmint rifle/daily driver that shoots Berger 105s and 107 SMKs in to tiny little groups way out there. The Bergers are right at 2900 and the 107s are right at 2880. I shot a coyote this fall in montana at 754 yards with the 105s and it zipped right...
17 HMR is hard to beat for high volume varmints inside 250 yards. Next would be .223 for price per round but really anything pushing a V-max over 3200 fps is pretty awesome.
I have the mini and experienced high misses when I didn't put a good amount of downward pressure on the bag. Now I'm hesitant to buy the Molonator because of it.
I used a hobby airbrush. I bought a hvlp airbrush off Amazon specifically for this but couldn't find the parts to connect it to my air Compressor so I used the airbrush I already had and it worked fine, you just have to spray more because you're not laying down as wide of a pattern
