I've been digging around and looking at how everyone keeps their direct thread cans tight but none of them refer to titanium. I just got a Sythe Ti out of jail a couple months ago and it has been a royal pain in the ass with coming loose. I know Titanium expands and cools at a different rate...
I love mine. I run a 105 berger at 2900 from a 26" barrel and I have my furthest kill on a coyote at 754 yards BUT, I wish I would gone with a 6XC for just a bit more horse power.
I wanted to give a shout out to McMillan. Today I discovered a full depth crack from action screw to action screw in my Carbon Game Warden and despite the gun being bigger than a 300 Win Mag they are going to make it right. (Gunsmith either didn't know or chose not to tell me.) Not real happy...
Might call a local taxidermist. Nick at Wildlife Creations will probably get you headed in the right direction even if you're not going to use his services.
Glad to hear someone is actually drawing those late tags. I figured it was like those giveaways they do on social media and then don't actually give anything away. Good luck this fall!
I scooped up a Pure Precision Stock on a labor day sale at Red Hawk Rifles for $500 and it was also the last one in stock so I really got lucky.
I've never owned one, do they need bedded or are the pretty tight? I have plans of doing it myself either way i am just curious if I actually need...
I shot this old fella in the Frank in 2022. He had some pretty awesome eye guards and trash around the bases. He was a fighter, full of antler holes with a 31" cape and missing a recently removed testicle. Nothing compared to some of the beasts you guys are showing though.
Yeah that's kinda what I figured as there isn't much talk about them. They always seek to be in stock and Maven claims they are redesigned from the originals. It's hard to bet that kind of money on something that MIGHT work. I'll probably pick of a Trijicon or NF.
Does anyone know if the 3.2 5-30 is mechanically the same? I don't see a lot of discussion on that particular optic. I realize the mag range isn't in the Rokslide agenda but it's still lighter than a Nightforce and has a better reticle.
Here's my 7 SAUM.

Rifle is a dream to shoot but it needs to go on a weight loss program so it will likely be getting a carbon stock of some form in the future.
Rifle is actually gray/tan but my phone makes it...
I didn't realize you were hunting that high. Generally speaking for idaho in the northern half including the Salmon Regions people tend to hunt the lower country with the issue of only seeing does and young bucks. In most of these areas your ridges max at 8k with many of them being 6500-7000 and...
