Hello my friend, the 5.11 Apex are great. I just wanted to say that the Stonecutters are really nice. They hold up very well to rough brush and terrain. I'm shocked no one has ever brought them up as well.
Hello, I have used the Union 6" in the woods for a while now. They are comfortable and my feet have stayed dry. You still should be able to get a pair online although not through 5.11's website at this point due to being discontinued. Overall I have been happy with them.
Would you care to share your experience with hot weather gear that you may use. Say during 70 - 90 degree temps with about 6 miles of trekking in a day. Always interested in lightweight with as much durability as possible. The cold weather gear I feel I have dialed in a bit more. Thanks in...
Hot weather pant option that has plenty of stretch for mountain excursions. Wear gaiters if the underbrush is thick. Good option for day trips although I would probably not recommend for multiple day backcountry excursions. The pilling in the crotch is the only downside that I have experienced.
Forloh has some really quality items for outdoorsmen. The all clima pants, sol air pants, and insect shield hoodie are a few that I have used extensively and been impressed with the features, comfortability, and durability.
