I hunt out west for elk every year an I love it. But there’s something special about sitting in the Oklahoma and Missouri hardwoods in November. Nothing beats it.

Exactly a week ago I stuck my Bow buck. He ended up going maybe 50 yards after a 13 yard shot.
Two days later my wife got her first deer with a bow! Super proud of her. And she’s now hooked on archery!

Sounds like a fun trip! We've taken my 7 year old to many NPs. One of the coolest was this summer in CO. Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve. Definitely worth going to imo. Especially if the river is running.
