Looking for my next rifle caliber

Do you have a suppressor? If not, that would be my vote vs buying another gun.

Looking for my next rifle caliber

I’ve done this exact same thing except I had a 300 wsm and my next “ magnum” will be a 6 cm. To the OP I recommend buying a couple boxes of ammo for what ever cartridge you choose, and shoot a few 10 round groups with a friends rifle. So you can see if you’re happy with the recoil and your...

    Tikka Roughtech and Supressor?

I had my rough tech barrel cut to 18 in and threaded 5/8x24. The threading is in the fluting and it’s wasn’t a problem for my gunsmith. I have a 6.75 inch suppressor and I wouldn’t want my barrel longer than it is.

Suppressors - first round impact shift

Sometimes that’s the hardest thing to admit. For me it took at least a year to admit.

    Silencerco Scythe TI review

It seems like the only thing you have left to do is send it. I’m curious how much of a difference it would make as well.

    Tikka 223

That’s a great price per round. I found for myself that paying $2+ per round leads to me not actually practicing.

    Tikka 223

The cost of ammo is why I bought a tikka in 223. Unless you will actually buy and shoot 243 ammo I would recommend the 223.

    Tikka T3x muzzle threading

You would have to thread it 9/16 or 1/2 and, then use an adapter to get it to 5/8.

Suppressors - first round impact shift

My DD Enticer S doesn’t show any of these problems with my 6.5 prc. In fact my precision has improved with it on vs off, but I think that’s recoil and muzzle blast reduction. I’m hoping to get it on the tikka 223 in a month or so. I’ll report back if I experience any weirdness but I’m not...

6mm and .223/5.56 ILLEGAL for big game in Alaska!

This is true year round, but especially in August when a lot of magnums get dusted off for the year. I’d be curious what the average group size would be if everyone had to shoot a 10 round group.

.223 for bear, mountain goat, deer, elk, and moose.

I’m sure it shoots accurate enough to be functional out to distance. My problem is I need a friend with a checked bag on a plane or I need to get a barge/shipping company involved to get it to me.

.223 for bear, mountain goat, deer, elk, and moose.

That is my plan if I’m unable to get tmks. Finding factory 73 eld hasn’t been a problem.
