Buy one of these arrow insert glues. They like Loctite 380 are both a rubber toughened cyanoacrylate. My guess is that they are Loctite 380 rebranded. -

Couldn’t you put sharpie on one of your bullets and chamber it to check for contact with the lands? It seems like extending the throat is little bit is a very easy way to reduce a potential issue when it’s guaranteed that someone is going to shoot 5.56 in a 223 rem. -

. I found this on the cz-USA website and apparently they think it’s safe. From what I understand they say the CIP 223 is the same dimensions as the 223 but with 556 pressures. Google CZ-USA 223 and you should find the link if you wish. -

I’m one of the guys who thinks that it is bruising on the inside of the rib cage in the Picture. First of all that’s a really clean thoracic cavity with only minimal blood left in the picture. My guess is that deer was washed out with a hose or 5 gallon buckets of water. Maybe @Harvey_NW can... -

My opinion is that the bullet traveled parallel to the rib cage, and was not a perpendicular impact into the rib cage as described.
