I had OnX back when there were still a few bugs in it. I switched to Basemap and have been happy with it. I'm sure OnX has worked through those initial issues and is a solid platfiorm now but I've been happy with the Basemap app and their customer service is great.
It's been a while but bumping this one, new Luxe Octopeak (in box) with stove jack, snow skirts, no pole. Never actually used in the field. $200 TYD. PM me if any questions.
Really just doubling down on all the good points above. I don't think you will be disappointed with a .308 as long as you do your part. I have a closet full of calibers and I have killed more with the .308 than any other but, granted, mainly because it's the one I carry more than any other...
Welcome Joe and Tony.
Question for Robbie: If Joe gives up his WKR status and is now WKM does that relieve him from any possible prosecution in the BOAL scandal or can some sort of retroactive statute of limitations go into effect when the DNA comes back? I only ask because Joe and I went...
That's a beautiful rifle. A model 88 and then a 100 were my first deer rifles when I started hunting, both in .308. I'm glad to know there are still people that appreciate them.
Are the K2 and K3 frames different where the belt slides through? I put a Kifaru belt on my K2 frame a few years back and it was pretty simple. I don't recall exactly but I think all it took was maybe adding some velcro to the belt. I've got a heavy duty (but not commercial) sewing machine...
I'll second what Vandy said above. Unless you've got to have brand new, the difference between a slightly used GX460 and a slightly used 4R TRD Premium is next to nothing. I made the upgrade after 6 months with a TRD just to get a V8 and something other than a BLACK interior. 4R's are in...
I've got the havalon piranta and also the Outdoor Edge. I'll break a blade on the havalon if I'm not careful. When I'm not counting ounces out to 2 decimal points I'll go ahead and carry the Outdoor Edge. For a small fixed blade it's hard to beat the Benchmade Steep Country. I've got a...
January, February is when I get in some backpacking around here. Weather wise it's the closest we get to September weather out west and so it's the only time I can really check my hunting set ups / new gear. I have started doing a scouting trip out west over Memorial weekend and getting to...
I've had a Fieldcraft in .308 for maybe 4 years now. It is one of the few rifles that I purchased new and I paid the $1799 sticker minus a Kimber I traded in. Straight out of the box accuracy was sub moa with Hornady ELDX and Barnes TTSX. With the bare rifle just over 5 pounds I'm able to get...
