Stay away from Zamberlan - terrible boot and worse warranty
The Lynx have been good for me but I did have some contact in the toe box cost me a toenail. I also had a pair of their insulated version of the 960 (different number, maybe 1052) they were good but somehow aggrivated my Achilles and I had to ebay them. -
Widest boot?
The Crispi Valdres wide finally worked for me in a lightweight boot at least. I did break down and go Lathrop and Sons wide Mountain Hunter for a heavy duty boot and it seems to be working out. I only have maybe 30 miles on them so far but seem to just be getting better. -
Need suggestions to fix my sleeping situation
Yes, get the 30" wide. I am an ounce counter on everything else but when it comes to sleep I don't cut corners.- Paladin
