Had the labradar. Didn’t do a side by side but velocity’s were very similar from previous readings on same load.

Glad you bought and got extra. Now you so you can see for yourself. You having a 9.5” twist will be interesting to see if it stabilizes. The bullet I believe has a recommended 9” which is most likely why you ordered the 178s. Some of the easiest load development I’ve ever done on any bullet...

You assume I don’t know what you’re talking about. I’ve used those bullets with success too and others I know. Lately haven’t been liking the results. Do you think the guy with the 128 is lying? Just curious

Don’t you see a lot of lung missing?

    McGuire ballistics review

Wish I had pictures of that but I don’t and what I mean by that is the bullet hitting the hide blowing up underneath and nothing getting past the surface of the ribs into vitals. I believe that to be from too much velocity at close range. Also had one penetrate in the top of the back an inch...

And I’ve seen hornadys and Berger’s blow up on the hide and ones that completely pencil.

Were you using his bcs? Especially that 128, someone’s very upset by it

Very little damage? It blew half of his lung off. Had it been 3-4,000 elevation it would’ve probably done even better. Sure was more than field tip damage that someone said it would be.

My bull took 3 or 4 staggering steps, stopped knowing something was wrong. Tried to pick up his front leg and dropped dead. That was at 981yds. This was the 195.

Awesome. My impact velocity was 1833 and it opened up plenty at 700 ft at 981 yds.

Well, I’ll probably never shoot the 128s. I have the 7mm 168s and I will report back here with my findings.

You are correct. I was looking at the projection length. The design is different and there is no rubber tip like on the lazer. So that may or may not help. I think it does. Maybe you should try it out and see for yourself. That’s all you can do.

    McGuire ballistics review

Completely different design. the 128gr is over .300” longer than the cutting edge lazer 150. McGuire is 1.390” vs the 150 lazer at 1.069”

    Revic BLR10b Rangefinding Binoculars

I have got the revics last Friday and have 12x42 nl pures. I’ve been doing low light tests along with contrast, resolution and color. These binos are pretty impressive. I can’t say they’re better than the swaro nl pures when It comes to edge to edge clarity but I sure wouldn’t feel handicapped...
