    Others may differ but I use one call for everything. If the Champ call works well for you, buy a bunch of the same call and spend time on the Elknut App learning different calling scenarios and techniques. No sense wasting money trying other calls if you have one that works.

    If money isn't an issue, I would buy a range finder with the onboard ballistics and environmental readings to calculate bullet drop. Unless you're amazing at pinpointing exact distances you will be using a range finder anyway to get the distance. I would check out the Sig 5k as its a lot...

    I drove a 03 Honda CRV for a few years, packed 5 elk countless deer and bears doing the same method. Got tired of the ass end dragging loaded down but I could take that thing just about anywhere.

    No joke, to save gas I took my wife's Prius to an easy access trailhead for my sons youth hunt last year. He killed a buck and I stuffed it in the back with our gear no problem. Wife wasn't thrilled.
