I don't think they do. I may be incorrect but I believe that "Title 46 US Code, sec. 2110" prohibits them from doing so. My neighbor was one of the helo pilots that did this rescue and he told me they don't charge anything.
Brand new to the site and I've never posted on a forum so forgive my ignorance in general. Saw this thread and figured I would share. Very long story short, I moved to AK a about 18 months ago and this year was my first rifle hunt, and first mountain hunt... also my first bear hunt etc etc etc...
