Exped mega mat is super comfy, not crazy durable though…. I treated it well and still popped it. The hest memory foam is super comfy, a bit more $, can’t pop this one…. Car camping only though..
I have a Fab Four on my front and an expedition one on my rear. Big difference in build quality, expedition one way nicer, welds, finish, etc.. It is also a bit heavier. If I did it again I’d spend more $ and get an expedition 1 up front.
Check out cash for arms on the interweb. I got a fair price quickly and the process was painless, had money in less than a week. Admittingly I was a bit skeptical, but would definitely sell to them again.
Not an idiot to buy the trailer first.
You can configure the NRS frame any way you’d like. The folks there would be happy to help.
I wouldn’t call a super puma a mid range raft. It’s not as expensive as a sotar or maravia, but…. I wouldn’t get an Aire if I was running primarily...
Not the best pics but here’s my Aire Super Puma. Basically an NRS frame with some custom. I use it as a paddle raft, an overnite boat for 2, and fishing transportation between runs. The frame is modular, I could add front and back seats, standing platforms and lean bars, and an anchor system...
The Aire puma series are solid options. Quick movers, able to hold in current well etc.. fishing frames can be had through nrs or the custom company’s. I found a used super puma, the 13 ft model, and it has been a great boat. On the small side for family overnighters but definitely doable...
I used a Patagonia laptop bag as my dad bag. Worked great for diaper changing gear and accessories, and snacks, always have the snacks. 😆I think we’ve still got it and my boys are 16 and 18 now. Time flies.. enjoy!
Nice work! I’m a bubbly drink guy. I enjoy kombucha and the cbd drinks for more of a treat. Try some different flavors, there’s a lot of variety. It’s something about the carbonation for me.
Gunbroker is a good resource. You can browse current for sale and sold guns to get a good idea. You can also get an offer from cash for guns to give a solid start point.
I’ve thought about this a fair chunk. I currently have an ARE canopy on my tundra 5’6” bed. I can’t sleep in it. I set up a tent and can do in less than 20 min I’d guess. A wedge style pop up canopy is on my list. The gfc looks good but the topo can have windows on the sides so that’s the...
