I’ve been wanting to start annealing as well. I’ve looked at different annealing equipment. Not sure if it’s worth it, but thinking hard about biting the bullet and purchasing an AMP annealer to take out the guesswork and hassles.
I like the 240 as well. The Kutana Hybrid is similar in function, maybe a little warmer. I haven’t had the hybrid as long, but have been using them both for mid and outer layer purposes.
I went and put both on just now to compare again, and the arms on the Guide are roomier than the Axis. Hadn’t really thought to compare the sleeves before. While the sleeves are roomier, my Guide jacket is slightly smaller in the chest and armpits compared to my Axis.

IMO the Guide jacket is the weak link in your stand hunting setup. It’s a great jacket if you are moving some, but not great at blocking wind if sitting still in cold weather for long periods. The Yukon (overtop a puffy) is a better outer for blocking wind, but a bit noisy for bow hunting. You...
