    It's more about mechanical ability of the scope. Larger tubes can dial more elevation. Also, I'll say that I prefer neither of your options. I like scopes with 36mm tubes ;-). But, if forced between your listed choices, definitely 30mm.

    A Gamechanger has infinitely more uses and is more stable than an old bag or sock with fill or beans in it. Might not seem like it at first glance, but the bag is totally worth it.

    Agree with this assessment. I have about 80 rounds down the current Krieger barrel for my 300 RUM. I figure 1000 round count is about max I'll get out of the barrel. Change in powder lot, and nearly 700 rounds on the barrel and only a 45 fps change in velocity sounds pretty reasonable.

    Yes, I have a SOL survival and first aid kit that I bought and I also augmented. In addition to the kit, I added some easy to use suture staples, large bandages, Quickclot bandage, ad moleskin, and a Tourniquet for worst case.
