I have a bunch of great memories from this year.. starting with my 1st coues deer hunt (tagged a nice one) with some great friends.. it ranks up there, but one of my kids getting a deer always beats my trips, even if my kid is almost 30 lol...
I actually think the best thing that happened this...
Love my RZR... is it perfect for everything...... nope, but if I need to make some time in the rough stuff, it's the right machine, gets me into places I don't want my truck getting tore up.
For what you are describing, the Kodiak isn't going to be large enough, Its a great tent but a 3 man tent tops. The 12x20 would work but is hard to put up by yourself and when it gets cold (like really cold) it will be warm next to the heat source (wood stove) and the water is freezing other...
I can't speak to Char, but for grayling... darn near any spinner will work, bronze if it's sunny and silver if it's dark/overcast... at least that has worked for me. Love some grayling over the fire :)

Saved forever and finally got my new binos and evrything is good, set up, dialed, adjusted... EXCEPT the "click" correction values. When I set up the rifle configuration, the only options are for Swaro scopes. What are you guys doing in set up for the click correction? I'm not running a swaro...
Actually looking at a cabin/property tomorrow.... put an offer in and was accepted so it looks like 4.5hrs away and we are going to see if it's to far away. I think a lot is going to depend on how the drive is.
Good write up though this isn't apples to apples... curious how the TAs stack up against the comparable Leica? The Geovids will Bluetooth to a Kestrel, but how is the glass? Which brand ballistic app is better? Almost pulled the trigger on the TAs today, but want hunting/competition double...
