I can't believe this is still here. I've always considered this combo of rifle and cartridge as one of those goldilocks rifles....just right on all accounts. It's to bad that I don't need another Montana as I have coverage above and below the 280Ai, however if someone wanted just one.... this...
Adding a XL grip to my 365 was a game changer. The 12 round flush fit mags creates what I feel is the goldilocks version of the 365. I love mine. Free bump for ya and GLWTS
Thank you for everyone who responded, contributed and sent me in the right direction. I was able to procure a nice Kimber 84m. Good looking out and it speaks volumes for the good people of this forum.
With that said, if anyone happens along a Stainless X Bolt I'd be all ears.
Happy shooting...
Beautiful rifles no doubt, but unfortunately not stainless underneath. Both mine, and my brother's Hell's Canyon's both had their cerakote chip off at different times leaving the uncoated steel exposed to the elements. Rust resulted almost instantly. I won't go down that road again...
I've seen them and drooled all over myself about them. Unfortunately I am not a man of those means(I'm in the Army...lol)
I have given the Christensen Mesa thats on here a hard look though. I just keep getting tripped up though from previous Christensen experiences that were lack luster...
Oh man....if I didn't already have the 6" version of this plus a 4" security six I would be on this like Oprah on a ham sandwich.... hell. Both of mine even have the same hogue grips.... a great deal for someone.
I could really put this to good use. Way better then the crap I've been issued. Does anyone know if MR still supports this frame system? I would have to find a bag and LG belt to fit her if I were to nab her up.
Hello everyone,
I am in the market for a stainless steel rifle chambered in 6.5 CM. My ideal rifle would be an Browning X Bolt but I am open to other options. I like Brownings, Kimbers, Winchesters, Rugers, Sakos, .... that kind of thing.
Looking for a standard weight or maybe light weight...
