Why do rifle hunters use Camouflage ? The few times I’ve used a rifle I never wore camo of any kind.. seems silly.

Ontario orange is mandatory during gun seasons, I wouldn’t wear it if I had the option unless I was doing upland with a 2nd guy or deer drives

Marsupial Bino back, does the marsupial RF pouch slide on the pack strap?

As the title says? Currently I’m running a marsupial pack and an Outdoor Vision RF pouch that just has a pass through webbing, and it keeps sliding back on the pack strap and it’s sickening. Just want to know if the marsupial one locks on better?

Who’s running alpaca socks? Durability?

Ya the lady that sold me the socks at the alpaca farm said basically mild shampoo in cold/luke warm water in a bowl, let them soak, agitate with fingers, rinse, air dry on flat surface

Dial sights - hunting application?

I primarily archery hunt moose and some for whitetail. I was a spot hogg hunter fixed 5 pin guy for 10+ years. Switched last summer to a fast Eddie XL triple stack. I loved the new sight for practice, fit and treestand deer hunting. Not sure how I’m gonna like it when I have a bull past 40 and...

Man this has me excited, I’m glad I saved a bunch of legs last fall and froze em. I can tell he’s got a great nose on him, be pretty cool to help the locals out with a lost deer

Do they come by that profession naturally or is there extensive training? Here we run deer with hounds but I’ve never heard of a local recovery dog.
