    I have found that the airlines use a level of digression on those baggage charges for oversize but not on weight. When I flew to Boise, I was supposed to pay $240 round trip for my gun case and they never charged me a dime.

    I have a Yeti Hopper 30 that I have carried on a Delta flight DFW-BOI (Boise, ID) and then again a United flight from DFW-OGG (Maui). It was a smooth transition and no one questioned size at all.

    I've had this problem at my deer camp bc we camp primitively. I usually sleep with my phone inside or under my sleeping bag. Keeps the cold from sucking the battery life out of the phone.

    I plan to go with a mini plus OnX maps on my phone. Should I consider getting a better InReach than the mini? I don't necessary need the mapping functions since I'll be running OnX. Thoughts?

    We plan to hunt for a week. I agree with you that it may be difficult to fill 4 tags of anything anywhere; however, it is hard to get people to go with you if they don't have a tag. lol! This is all good information. Thank you!
