    Lol,, well I can't say I have never flinched but at 25 yards I can normally keep them close ! I did shoot my 45 70 after that and shot a decent group, I put a limbsaver slip on recoil pad on that beast and it tamed it quite a bit.

    Are you using loctite ? Have you sent the scope back " Leupold has a lifetime guarantee, if it's an issue with the scope they will fix or replace it.
