Slightly used. 9 Nockturnal G nocks. Green. 4 light up as intended and are ready to hunt. 4 work intermittently and 1 doesn't light up, but those 5 all work fine as practice nocks. Keep your practice arrows the same as your hunting arrows.

For my target arrows, I went with HIT and Deep Six field tips on my X-Impact arrows. I added length to the shaft, and then decreased the total component weight slightly to get the same total weight and FOC as the hunting arrows with outsert or collar system.
The HIT and flush field tip is so...
I've had good experience with the X-Impact durability with the FOCOS system. I've bent a lot of the FOCOS outserts, but almost all of the time the shaft has survived. Just screw a new outsert on, spin test, and go. If you do wreck a shaft, salvage the FOCOS parts for use on another shaft.
I'm...
At 10,000 ft elevation, for the first 10 days of September in Wyoming, I’ve used the following Kuiu:
145 merino 1/4 zip shirt,
145 merino zip off bottoms,
Tiburon top (I have since subbed this with a 125 merino crew neck)
Tiburon pants,
Chugach rain gear,
Merino neck gaiter.
Along with any old...
Now I’m debating how much less durable the deep six heads with HIT and collar would be than the Snyder Core system.
My target setup is 75 gr HIT with 125 gr D6 field tips for 200 gr total.
I’m debating:
1) just throwing a S100 D6 head and 25 gr collar on that, for 200 gr total, or
2) S135...
Can anybody say they’ve had excellent luck with epoxying the HIT and threading the Snyder Core broadhead in? How does the broadhead and collar spin? Or is hot melt a necessity so you can realign if necessary?
What model? I have the Renegade all-synthetic pants and would not consider them quiet. I also have the Rydr which are mostly cotton and they are extremely loud.
Not sure the question was directed at me, but I wear the Tiburon down to probably 50F depending on activity level and base layer. I...
Can you expand on what you mean by this?
I'm shooting X-Impact arrows. I like the FOCOS system because I can turn the outer collar to get the standard Iron Will broadheads to spin well. But I'd like to go with the Snyder Core for the durability and retaining straightness thru a tough animal...
Would like to continue this conversation.
The Kuiu Tiburon are pretty quiet for warm weather. Big Bill wool pants are decent for cold weather, and Columbia wool bibs are quiet for even colder weather.
I'm trying to find something in the middle. Would the First Lite Obsidian Foundry be a mid...
Except they’re not eating the soft tissue. They didn’t appear for at least a year and a half and have left the soft tissue alone. They’ve eaten away part of the bone and are burrowing inside the bone. Gross.
Two years ago I shot a deer and saved the skull plate with antlers. I cleaned it of most of the soft tissue. It has been sitting on the bench in my garage since then. Occasionally, I’ve moved it to clean and such. Today, I noticed a pile of debris below it. After I looked closer, there was a...
