Man, that is insane, and I’m not a lawyer but it seems like something the courts would be willing to take up as this seems to really be a limitation on one’s rights

Looking at their careers page it looks like they’ll pay somebody $12/hr to answer the phones remotely. It’s no wonder they can’t get a draw run in a timely manner, that pay rate is sure to attract the best and the brightest.

Questions like this are the reason I’m not surprised our government was able to trample on so many individual freedoms during the pandemic. I’m sorry I just can’t even with this. Are you literally asking if you’re allowed to hike on public land without a hunting license?

The vendor ran the black hills portion of the South Dakota draw on Friday. I’m assuming they will run South Dakota west river tomorrow and then Idaho on Tuesday but who knows.

I’m really curious as to what level of fish and game employee ID’d that bear[emoji2373] I’ve had enough experiences where I have seen the front desk people at the Nampa regional office hand out 100% incorrect information to have no doubt you could show them that video and get the go ahead to...
Ravpower 20k Mah battery pack, cost me $20 bucks, I’ve had it about 6-8 years, I charge it before every trip, I’ve never had it run out of juice in the field

I was reading an article about this in the local paper today. Sounds like they struck a deal. Weird situation, I don’t understand all of it. Fight between surface water users and ground water users and who has first right to water usage

Not today, the vendor is busy running the South Dakota deer draw. And in case anybody is as wondering, South Dakota’s deadline was Monday the 17th. At this point I can only assume IDFG makes the vendor wait just to see us suffer

You can buy a 2nd tag in Idaho at times, but you pay the nonres prices. I think Wyoming is pretty liberal with antlerless allotments for elk and antelope especially

False
We are still running off of last years allocations(aside from a few doe tags they cut after the hard winter)
They’ll set tag numbers and seasons again in February.

I’ll preface this with the fact that I’m an Idaho resident. Both states offer over the counter deer and elk tags to residents, to draw a rifle pronghorn tag in Idaho requires beating 2-4% odds with no points, but a Wyoming resident can draw them as a 2nd choice. I’m pretty sure bear/mountain...
If I draw deer in South Dakota this year I think I may try to find a reasonably priced SUV with unlimited miles. Most ford explorer sized vehicles get 25+ mpg these days and the fuel savings compared to my f150 getting 15 mpg would almost pay for the rental. Add in that I wouldn’t be putting...
I think that is really one of the things Matt Rinella/Hunt Quietly are also arguing for. Influencers continue to claim to be trying to shed positive light on the hunting community, yet time and again they are being arrested and convicted or pleading out on charges involving wildlife crimes, and...
If the long range hunting craze of the past 10+ years has taught me anything, they are not. There is zero reason in spite of how good technology has gotten that anyone needs to shoot shots greater than 400 yards. It’s called hunting not target practice

36% of 42,034 is more than 18% of 74,096 so there is no dwindling amount of available harvest, we just have to restrict who gets to partake in that available harvest due to hunter efficacy.

I’m guessing that if we crash land an asteroid full of gold, silver and platinum anywhere on the planet we won’t be building houses to put gold wiring in[emoji2373] any asteroid with the quantity of those minerals as to make them essentially worthless is going to be pretty heavy

Simple, open the tailgate, gives you another 1 1/2’ of space. I sleep in my 5 1/2’ F150 bed often when the weather cooperates and I’m 5’11”

The ones we always get say they are “working with the power company” and they simply “replace your power bill with a solar payment” nevermind that my power bill is ~$55/mo for 8 months of the year and the solar payment is usually around $200. Huge savings for me they say. I have looked into DIY...
