    Yeah I picked them up in 2008 or so. Seemed to be kinda a new thing at the time. Sounds like we’re cut from the same cloth. I still have a pair of my old kinkos with holes in the fingers. They’re almost black from years of snoseal and grime.

    Yes exactly! They’re the 7tms. It’s my ski setup but when the snow gets deep I like them more then snowshoes. I probably should put a lighter binding on them but I’m to cheap. 😂

    Yeah when working in Alaska we use to use deet until the plastics on our sunglasses and watch bands started disintegrating. It’s rough on any plastic type materials. A good one we used for years was lemon/eucalyptus from Coleman. Works good for mosquitoes

    Cooking in Wall Tent - Carbon monoxide

    I’ve spent the last 30 years cooking in a wall tent with all sorts of gas stoves and never had an issue. Granted we’ve never had a CO detector. 😂. I wonder if there is a small leak somewhere in the line or stove

    Well...My hunt plans got "throat punched"...

    Get yourself a good set of tire chains and treat them like crampons for hiking in the mountains, use them to get you out of a situation NOT into one. A lot of times during 3rd you don’t have to drive way up into the mountains anyway because the elk are migrating down. Just food for thought

    Don’t let the thought of 3rd otc put you in the dumps. Snow and fowl weather is what you want for those high pressure units and hunts. Brings the elk down out of the mountains and gets them on there feet. And if it’s beautiful weather the hunting might be tough but at least the weather is...
