I have for sale a used Nightforce NX8 2.5-20x50 FFP MOAR scope (C622). Scope is in good shape and comes with everything you see in the pictures. Has slight wear marks on the underside of the scope at the front of the dial housing (see picture). Selling because this is my last MOA holdout...
I'm calling them a liar. Looks like they cut a slit and pounded that bullet in there as clickbait (and many of yall fell for it). And I wouldn't be surprised if some of their defenders on here either know them, are them, or both. Having half a brain makes it easy to understand what they are...
Full disclosure: I'm a Vortex hater (they have the best warranty that you WILL need). And that's exactly why my 9 year old has the 8x32 Vortex Diamondbacks. When he drops them out of the deer stand they will get replaced (probably for free).
Alterra Carbon Hunter Tikka stock. Grip profile is similar to the Tikka stock (not a true vertical grip) and is more shootable than the stock Tikka stock.
I didn't know much about this scope so I looked it up. Not a cheap scope (pricewise) by any means. Although price doesn't seem to have much correlation with durability overall.
You're pissing in my cornflakes! I'm holding out hope that Swfa is going to offer some positive improvements across the board and will, at the very least, offer an improved (but durable) 3-9x42 and 3-15x42. I'd honestly settle for in-stock current 3-9x42 though.
Thanks @mxgsfmdpx for the update. I'm looking forward to hearing how these hold up to this kind of use (especially after passing the drop test). I know Form typically does a lot of rough road riding as part of his evaluation as well. This might end up being my next scope.
Excellent. I appreciate both of you chiming in. My time with this scope was limited and indoors with good lighting (and on a "stock" that didn't fit). Now the only concern I have is durability. If this thing works correctly then Maven has done something with this scope.
I had a chance to take a look at one of these at the RMEF outdoor expo in Vegas this week. The MIL reticle is an improvement over much of what is out there but still isn't as good as the SWFA Milquad reticle. To me at first glance it seemed only mildly better than the NF MIL-R reticle but I'd...
FIFY.
The Altitude is a well-made but poorly designed stock. Shooting a suppressed 6.5 Creedmoor isn't hard to spot impacts typically...that stock made it way more difficult that it should be. Muzzle rise was crazy. It may work great for you but I'd also recommend a different stock to allow...
