    Interesting. We have seen little deer sign on cameras so far. I just take screen shots of the videos for forums. All of our cameras are set to video.

    More pictures from scouting. Quite a few different bears are regulars in the area. The big cinnamon boar is top dog. He tried to destroy two of the cameras already. Can't wait to get this season started.

    I hunt mostly on the eastern slope of the Sierra's where it is quite dry (and can be really hot in archery season). We look for water as the bears need it everyday when temps are above 90 degrees. From trail camera footage it's interesting how often bears are moving midday to water sources.

    Water is key too. A wallow or pond where they can get a drink or take a bath.

    Good point. Would be a deal breaker if I used it for that. I'm thinking it would be just for transport. Breaking ice would be another deal breaker.

    4,000+ deer tags in there this year. Lots of hunting pressure before we hunt in November. Also had four points and it was our last choice.
