I have been super impressed with this REI pack.
Carries weight well, has a ton of great features, and able to get many years for my son before he needs a “real” hunting pack.
It’s your money, totally up to you.
That said, you asked on a hunting forum what people thought, and most hunters point you in the direction of those two companies, doesn’t that say something?
Have you looked at Western Mountaineering or Feathered Friends?
Both have been in business for a long time, made in the USA, and you would be hard pressed to find a bad review on either product or company.
Of your choices, I'd take the Stone Glacier,, you couldn't get me to give a dime to Peax.

I wore those exact puffy pants with a 20 degree EE quilt in about 10 degrees, I made it through the night but you can guarantee I bought a better bag when I got home.
Thanks for the solid advice, I bought some of those Kryptek gaiters on your recommendation, I’ll take a look at some pac boots and definitely carry extra socks.
Goes without saying cold and wet feet could ruin my boys rifle hunt faster than almost anything else, but there really aren't many great options that I can find.
We'll be hiking a little bit, but definitely plan on wet and cold weather.
Any suggestions?
