I have the squeeze as well. I have not used it as a gravity feed system but will be trying that this year. I would encourage you to pickup some of the 64 0z squeeze bags, makes things go MUCH faster. Those bags are also very handy for loading up on water and taking it with you for later in...
If you have a kindle you can also get the app for your phone and just use your andriod/iphone. No it isn't as awesome to read on as a kindle but I am usually pretty tired and don't read too long. Also I can put a few shows or movies on it so I have something to watch if I get rained in or...
I hunted Idaho last year from September to December with some very heavy boots. This year I will be wearing Salmon Speedcross 4's with some Darn Tough socks until it starts to snow. Then I will go back to the heavy boots. I would be more concerned about how heavy your footwear is as opposed...
I just wear Darn Tough socks. I stopped wearing the liners quite awhile ago. I was able to figured out how to get proper fitting shoes/insoles and how to lace up so my foot doesn't slide around anymore, once I did that liners weren't really needed.
You have enough of a rifle. What I have seen from guides is they usually tell everyone to bring an f'ing hammer. Reason being is most hunters are not great marksmen so the extra "oomph" is extra insurance for piss poor shooting. IMHO it isn't that much more but I am not a professional guide.
You sir are my exact dimensions. I don't use First Lite or Under Armor. My favorite pants are the KUIU Attack pants. They are the most comfortable pants I have ever owned. I can't recommend them enough.
I have a 2017 GMC 2500 Diesel. I got it to replace my Silverado 1500. I purchased a small 5th wheel and needed more towing capacity. I talked with my friends who are farmers and haul loads all the time. They were 100% behind getting a Duramax Diesel. I have absolutely 0 complaints about it...
I currently have a large 5th wheel that I use for a lower camp then from there go out for 3-4 days. Someday when I have extra money to burn I will pick up a patriot camper.
Idaho OTC Elk can start in August for cows and run up to the end of September depending on which zone you go with. Pioneer zone maybe a good one to look at.
I can whole hardly second this. I use these as my training, hiking, and hunting shoes. The 4's are awesome and very comfortable, they take a beating and once you put some extra water repellent on them they are very dry, just make sure to get the ones with Gortex.
The areas I hunt they seem to share the area. I find mulie beds not far from elk beds and rubs. Often times I would see fresh deer and elk tracks on the same path. This was born out on the trail cams I have been putting up around that area, half of pics are of elk the other half are of mule...
I am relatively new to the trail cam game. Yet I have not even seen a picture of another person on mine. As bears are a concern I put it in a metal case and use a python cable.
I guess I dont have mine up high enough as the Elk seem to like to use a few of them for scratching posts, which is...
Are you hiking in or camping by your truck? If you are hiking I would go with a 0 degree bag/quilt, an air mattress with a high R value, and ground cloth. If you are camping by the truck then bring a wool blanket and wrap the air mattress in it like a taco.
You can get by with either of...
I carry a small rear bag. I use it for prone but it is also very useful for shooting off hand off of rocks, tree branches, tree trunks, or pretty much any other hard surface. So for me I always have one.

I recently went looking at all the spotters I could. Neither the the Zeiss or Vortex could hold up to the Swaro. Yet if money were truly no object I would get a Hensoldt 60x. I have two friends who have them and they are amazing to look through.
