I guess we need a 2022 fitness goal thread!

This year focusing more on rucking. Last year focused too much on strength training and realized it doesn’t translate well when carry 80lb pack out. Making sure to do at least 3 miles a week with 60lb pack on local trails while still maintaining strength conditioning. Nothing beats actually...

What “luxury” items do you carry on your back?

As other mentioned I think having a pillow and camp shoes are a luxury worth having. I like the idea of taking a journal like others mentioned to capture some of the cool moments and data that you might forget. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Gas Prices & DIY NR Hunters

Gas prices won’t change the hunting plans we have in place. Mostly because I feel that as a NR hunter I need to take advantage of any opportunity I get to hunt the great western states. Definitely have to reconsider some of the “wants” I have and focus on the things I need for a successful hunt.

Sleeping pad for side sleeper

Just ordered the updated Nemo Tensor this week. I’m exited about the higher R-value and hopefully they made some improvements on durability.

Whose purchased a Virginia Elk lottery?
