    Can you tell me more about the 97, I've only used sitka and some black ovis wool. I have a lot of sitka gear, including the ambient hoody, I'm wanting to make a move to kuiu so the peloton 97 and 240 even the 118 im interested in just don't know much about them other than there name. Thank you

    I like the black ovis wool but some run a little short in length to me, but I keep buying them. I still like a good quality synthetic base for most of the long trips.

    Wool makes heat when wet with a layer over it, thus drys, if your using a breathable mid its almost like have nothing over the wool and it drys i like a good synthetic base but it must have a good treatment so they don't smell. I think everyone is got a great idea of the layers just my 2...
