    I would just caution that if you are a swaro guy and think you may elevate to that level eventually on your spotter don't waste your money on a lower level one. You'll just end up selling it later and losing money. Or at least buy used so you don't take as much as a hit if you sell.

    Slid down a cliff face and managed to stop myself 30 yards down by clawing the side like a cat and kicking my boot toe repeatedly into the wall...stayed there face first against the wall for 10 hours until I was rescued via ropes.

    Western Mountaineering 15 and 5. I sleep a heck of a lot better when I have a sleeping bag rated at least 15 degrees lower than the actual temps. It's the difference between waking up every 30minutes to readjust vs just cozy as hell and sleeping like a rock.

    I've been a long time lurker (years) and have a few friends who have been members for a while so I figured i'd finally join and hopefully contribute some limited knowledge. I'm most interested in elk hunting but I do a little bit of everything. If anyone is from northern Idaho give me a shout.
