Part of the fun of owning a bike is the customizing process. And the sky is the limit when it comes to seats, bars, controls, etc. You're on the right track with a Roadking, Roadglide, and Ultra. None of them seem big and clunky once you put some miles on.
80,000 miles coast to coast on this...
I have a couple gas Husky's, Rancher and 372xp that I use for bucking firewood. But reach for the electric 100% of the time now when it comes to heading in the woods in the Jeep or sxs. Toting a gallon of mixed gas is a pita..
No experience with the gas version, but Ooni seems to be a popular option in both gas and wood fired. I went with a comparable, but less expensive version. Mimiuo Wood fired and have been extremely happy with it after a months use.
I've had a Keweenaw Barrel Sauna for six years. Built in the UP in Chassel, Mi. (yes, native Yooper here too) I have zero complaints and zero regrets. Growing up with the traditional stick built type sauna's I was optimistic, but they really are great. They heat quick, with the right wood, look...
Nice to see the Wildpeaks getting the nod in a couple different posts. I'll need new rubber on my 19' CrewMax by fall. Currently running the BFG KO2 with nearly 80K on them. Gonna be hard to not just buy another set of those with that kind of performance.
Yep, like others have said, have seen plenty of them in use in both CO and MT. Just like we see plenty of hub blinds sitting on the ice in the winter. Until the wind blows anyway :)
Definitely a great way to hunt, especially up North or the West end of the Yoop where you can avoid the orange army. Nice to have a little snow so you can cut "a big buck track" like the Benoit's. Good stuff!
Great pics and story! Thanks for sharing. Sure makes me miss that area, hunted up there from about 07' to 2012. (Sioux Narrows/Kenora) It was really, really good in those early years. I can relate to all of it, we'd rent a cabin and ride deep on quads and the timber was no joke. One of our last...
Not Cancun, but gf has dragged me to Florida the last three years in May. After sitting on the beach doing nothing but drinking cocktails and "sight seeing" I started bringing fishing gear and surf fishing. Inexpensive and have a blast. Actually can't wait for this year. Plenty of action on...
Just gotta hunt. It's November and anything can happen. I'm in the same situation, should have been off this week but adjusted due to weather. (Warm in the UP too) and my Tactacam went off with a shooter walking by at 12:30pm yesterday. It's the right time of year, but its a huge mental game...

I thought HECS and Ozonics makes you invisible, and you'll have Booner's sniffin your boots?
