    Same here, large hooker and they’re all solid. If you’re nervous, you could always wire the skull to the mount.

    Just checked them out…they put the skull flat against the wall, in an unnatural position. Skull hookers are an entirely different mount.

    Seeing denser cover, is a whitetail hunter mentality. That’s not really what elk transition to… Elk, are where they are. If there’s snow, they’ll be somewhat more easy to find. Pick out 5-10 areas you’ve escouted and get boots on the ground, is about the best way to answer your question.

    Truth^^ I spent more on sausage spices and vac seal bags than a tag, and the freezer is full. So for 30k, or 50+k It must come down to score… What would be the size bull one would generally be satisfied with, spending that kind coin?
