Brought back some long ago memories, thanks. My best advice for getting the most fun out of it is find a guy that is scared of snakes if ya are in a snaky environment. It was a blast watching my uncle walk on water trying to get away from the fish moccasins.
I used to be like you until I tried this, now I won't be caught in the woods without a ziploc bag of this stuff. Surprisingly delicious and cheaper than Starbucks.
If I remember correctly there was a place to put in your bow hunter Ed number or a past bowhunting license number from another state when you were applying.
Not trying to be argumentative but you really should do some real studying. The treestand harness companies have been preaching for years how safe their harnesses are. Stop drinking their cool aid and think. You do not need a tension relief strap with a rock climbing harness due to how they are...
This is how I do it as well for over 10 years and this whole time I've never been able to figure out why people think they need loops on the side. Completely blows my mind.
I had a local tailor add a zipper to a quilt. I picked up the zipper at hobby lobby.
With that said I think you would ruin a pair of pants due to not having the extra material to cover the Zipper so the cold won't get through the zipper.
If people would stop watching all the vids where the supposed to be professional hunters gut shoots animals and states we will let him lay over night cause we didn't see him go down. Go look over the mountain and see if your animal is laying there.
# 1 Throw the grunt tube away #2 get a decoy for prairie hunting #3 when you see a buck that you want to come in and he can hear you just snort wheeze with your mouth #4 kill buck while he is posturing beside your decoy.
