No click for me...it makes me anxious. I have three of the same release (HBC) and they are all set about the same. I save one for hunting and then use the others for practice. I tweak the speed a little here and there, but in general they are all set about the same, that way I can get used to...
I switched to a hinge last season and it worked great, I shot a great velvet muley and a mountain goat with it. Keeps my mind on the shot, and takes my jumpy thumb completely out of the equation.
Not exactly. Bow DL is measured from 1.75" in front of the deepest part of the grip (pivot point) to the > in the string. YOUR DL will vary depending on the bow's specs and cam design, but in general the > in the string should be at or just beyond the corner of your mouth. If the bow is short...
I paper tune at about 8-12 feet until I consistently get a perfect tear, then confirm and make any adjustments necessary with a broadhead tune at my max hunting range, which I've currently set at 60 yards for myself (used to be 70 but I've decided to be a bit more conservative this year)...

100% the same for me. Triggers suck for me, I can shoot every shot at a target with a trigger and pull through, but once an animal is there my thumb hammers down before I even get the pin where I want it. The settling low syndrome can totally be a form of TP, I do it too on occasion. I had to...
You nailed it when you said get a press. Then buy the bow and all the you can at a good shop with good people. Best of both worlds, you get to have a shop as a resource/middleman if you have issues AND you do your own work which will be better in the long run. AND they like you because you...
